: (1) The Government of Nepal shall make and implement the minimum standard of relief to be made available to the disaster affected people on the recommendation of the Executive Committee.
(2) The minimum standard of relief as per sub-section (1) should include the following subjects in addition to other subjects:-
(a) Housing, food, drinking water, health and sanitation to be provided to the disaster-affected persons in temporary shelters,
(b) Regarding the minimum relief to be provided to the family of the deceased and the person whose property has been damaged,
(c) relating to the welfare of women, children, senior citizens, disabled and disabled persons,
(d) relating to livelihood of the victim through self-employment and employment management other than minimum relief,
(e) relating to distribution of non-governmental or private relief; (f) Relating to the distribution of relief under the one-door system,
(g)   Other appropriate matters relating to relief.
(3) The minimum standard of relief as per sub-section (1) shall be complied with by all bodies, individuals or organizations providing relief to disaster affected persons.
